Roger Brevoort is an architectural historian by training and a well-known spokesman and advocate for historic preservation in Phoenix and throughout Arizona. He holds an M.S. in Historic Preservation from the University of Vermont.  He is an acknowledged leader in the Real Estate community in regards to historic houses and pertinent regulations and benefits.  Roger Brevoort has held an Arizona Real Estate License since 1987, developing a specialization in older homes in historic neighborhoods while more recently focusing on mid-century modern homes. Roger Brevoort is a prolific consultant in the designation process that enables various neighborhoods to attain listing on the National Register of Historic Places, enabling property owners to take advantage of the various tax advantages. Notably, he is one of the few people in Phoenix who balances work in the academic sphere and the real estate sales arena. Additionally, he understands that architectural style, integrity of original design, and the character and setting of historic neighborhoods impact the desirability of neighborhoods to buyers, and are equally advantageous factors to sellers.
