Midtown Phoenix is a slice of the Central Corridor generally considered to be from Thomas Road to Campbell Avenue, from 7th Street to 7th Avenue, now colloquially called “between the 7s.”
Notable historic districts in this area include La Hacienda, Ashland Place, Pierson Place, and Yaple Park. Historic homes built as early as the 1920's can be found scattered through the community with styles ranging from ranch homes to adobe homes to Spanish colonial design.
The Midtown area contains a blend of:
Single-Family residential homes

The Executive Towers, designed by Alfred Beadle, is considered by many to be the centerpiece of midtown Phoenix.
The towers were built in 1962 and was the first high rise built for residential living in midtown. It is still one of the tallest buildings in Phoenix.
In 2017, the towers were placed on on the National Register of Historic Places. They were also added to the Phoenix Historic Register a year later, in 2018.
Other notable residential buildings/condominiums along Central Avenue include the Phoenix Tower, Regency House, Olympus Condominiums.
